NANCY RICE
Nancy Rice was born in Northern California and has been a proud progressive all her life—from strikes and demonstrations against the Vietnam War in the 1960’s to The Women’s March in 2017 at the side of her daughter. In 1980, Mrs. Rice moved to Virginia and married Mr. Edward Rice in 1990. Together, they have raised both a daughter and son in Virginia and are proud to call the Commonwealth home.
Mrs. Rice currently sits on the Fairfax County Civil Service Commission. Previously, Mrs. Rice was an officer in her local Women’s Club for many years and served on the Board of Directors for the elementary school that her children attended. She also held offices in both the Local Democrat Party and Civic Associations.
