Albert J. Dwoskin is President and CEO of A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. Since founding the company in 1967, the operations have primarily been the development, ownership and management of neighborhood serving retail centers and residential rental properties in Northern Virginia. He currently serves on the Commonwealth of Virginia Governor’s Advisory Council on Revenue Estimates.
He also serves on the following Boards: INET (Institute for New Economic Thinking), Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute and Endowment Fund, The Tryall Club-Jamaica, and the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). In past years he has also served as: Chairman and Director of Catalist (a national voter database and data analytical organization), George Mason University Foundation (1998 – 2007), Director of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (from 1994 – 2002), Metropolitan Washington YMCA, Member of the Commonwealth of Virginia Treasury Board, Governor’s Commission on Transportation in the 21st Century, Director for Virginia’s Center for Innovative Technology, and the Woodlawn Foundation (a National Trust for Historic Preservation).
He is a longtime Democratic donor and resides in McLean, Virginia with his wife Claire and their 19-year old twins.
